Why not grab lunch and come for a picnic in the spacious, wide-open fields of Diefenbaker Park, a family favourite for locals. Or have an adventure by exploring the steep and forested hills which will bring you to a bridge and waterfall. There’s plenty for the children to do as well, with a dock overlooking the duck pond, playgrounds, and beautiful gardens.
During Tsawwassen’s rare snowfalls, Diefenbaker Park is the place to be as kids of all ages get their snowsuits on for some sledding and tobogganing. And in the summer months, kids can cool off at the Rotary Waterworks waterpark that features a watermill and running streams. Bring your blanket and chairs and set up for an hour or the whole day. There’s a whole lot to see and do and the fun is up to you.
